WELCOME LETTER

On behalf of the Town of Cicero Police Department, I welcome you to our Department’s website.

The Town of Cicero Police Department is committed to quality service and the safety of our community. Living in one of the fastest growing communities in Central New York brings on many challenges, traffic, crime, and quality of life issues. We will continue to work hard for you as we meet these challenges.

I, and all officers of the Cicero Police Department, maintain a strong community policing philosophy based on communications and service. We encourage citizen participation and actively maintain several programs that result in a “citizen partnership.” If you are a Cicero resident, we invite you to become a partner in maintaining the quality of life that has made the Town of Cicero the “Town” to live and work in.

We especially encourage all Cicero residents avail themselves of our email-based e-policing program. This program keeps residents abreast of criminal activity in the community and allows residents to directly report issues and concerns

Also, please see the Volunteer Services area of our Website, should you wish to join the Men and Women of the Town of Cicero's "Volunteer-In-Police Services", who devote time to serve the Town.

Sincerely,
Joseph F. Snell Jr., Chief of Police
