Welcome to spring & summer! Winter is behind us and now is the time to clean up! Spring clean-up has started, and as soon as materials become available we will repair damage from winter road plowing. Road preparation and paving will continue this year. Roadside drainage work and various other projects will be ongoing all year.
Projected road projects for 2011 are as follows:
Paving- Due to budget restraints and weather conditions, we will do our best to complete these that are listed. Crabtree, New St., and Factory St.
Gutter work will be temporary repairs, again this year. We will be removing gutters in these areas this year: Tartan Dr. (All), Welland Ln., (these areas will also be paved).
We ask that the residents in the affected areas please read the letter that you will receive for information. The town is at the mercy of the paving company's availability. Every available man is involved with the gutter removal (where applicable) the prep. and paving process of our roads. We remind residents to use extra caution when approaching Highway Construction areas, and ask for your patience and understanding. We have several projects this year and a limited amount of time to complete before we have to start preparing for the winter season again.
The Town accepts METAL ITEMS ONLY, behind the Highway Garage.
The Town of Cicero DOES NOT have a junk pick-up schedule. ALL construction debris and non-metal items must go to Ley Creek (OCRRA) on 7th North St. Phone Number 453-2866 for information.

Blue Bins are available anytime, next to white tank at Highway Dept.
